Flat roofs dominate Hudson County. Most are EPDM, modified bitumen or older built-up roofing, often layered. The typical failures are seam splits, ponding around clogged scuppers and drains, failed flashing at parapet walls and coping, and leaks at hatches, skylights, vent pipes and HVAC curbs. We repair these with compatible materials and replace them with new membrane systems, adding tapered insulation to improve drainage where the structure allows.

Yes. Most of our Hudson County work is on attached buildings. We take care at the party wall line, protect the adjoining roof while we work, and flash the new membrane properly where it meets the neighbor's roof or parapet. Where it helps, we talk with the adjoining owner in advance.

How do you handle access and parking in dense neighborhoods?

We plan it with you before the job. Roof access is often through an interior hatch or a rear fire escape, and material delivery and dumpster placement on a street with no driveway may need municipal arrangements. We discuss these details at the estimate rather than on the first morning of work.
